Policy 3.1 (l) - Academic Needs
POLICY NUMBER: 3.1 (l) Page #1 of 1 Pages | ADOPTED: 9/20/04 First Reading: 9/13/04 Second Reading: 9/20/04 |
Whereas education is a lifelong process, the educational program must be designed to provide formal studies to meet the general academic needs of all students, and provide opportunities for individual students to develop specific talents and interests in vocational and other specialized fields.
At all levels provisions will be made for a wide range of individual differences, student abilities, and learning rates. To accommodate these needs, the district will provide a variety of curricular offerings to the student body and where necessary, provide other alternate educational experiences.
