The Hudson School District is a grade 1-12 school district serving approximately 4,100 students who live in Hudson, NH. We are located across the Merrimack River from Nashua and along the Massachusetts border in Southern New Hampshire.

ABOUT OUR SCHOOLS:

ELEMENTARY: Hudson School District has four Elementary Schools; Dr. H. O. Smith, Hills Garrison, Library Street, and Nottingham West Schools that house students in grades one through five.

MIDDLE SCHOOL: Hudson Memorial School is the District's middle school which houses approximately 1,100 students in grades six through eight.

HIGH SCHOOL: Alvirne High School (and the Palmer Vocational - Technical Center) is the District's comprehensive high school for students in grades nine through twelve. The Palmer Vocational Center offers numerous Career Pathways programs for students which include: Project Lead the Way (a pre-engineering program), Academy of Finance, Early Childhood Education, Culinary Arts, Agriculture, Health Occupations, and Biotechnology.

CURRICULUM: The Hudson School District has built its curriculum around the New Hampshire State Frameworks and Tri-state grade level expectations and grade span expectations. We continuously strive to give our students as many educational and extracurricular opportunities as possible. In addition to their academic studies, students in Hudson are able to participate in numerous athletic teams, F.I.R.S.T. (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), a hands-on program where students build robots and compete in regional and national competitions, Granite State Challenge, Lego Competition, National Honor Society, Student Council, Drama Club and a variety of other extracurricular activities.
